Chocolate-Millet Pudding

Ingredients

  • ½ cup millet (3.5 oz./100g)

  • 2 cups plant milk (475ml) + more if necessary

  • 2 tablespoons natural cocoa powder

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • handful berries

Steps

  1. Put the millet in a saucepan, add the milk, cover, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and cook covered for 15 minutes until the millet is soft and absorbs all the liquid.

  2. Add in the cocoa powder and honey. Mix thoroughly until the cocoa dissolves.

  3. Blend in a food processor or blender until smooth for about 2 minutes. At this point, you can add more milk to achieve the desired consistency.

  4. Serve hot or cold, topped with berries.
