Matcha Green Apple Recovery Smoothie

This is my post-workout smoothie, where I use ingredients that help promote muscle recovery, like matcha green tea. Pineapple contains potassium that aids in muscle function. Coconut water replenishes electrolytes, green apple helps to replace lost glycogen, while Greek yogurt offers protein which helps repair your muscles.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup coconut water

  • 1/2 green apple

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt

  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder

  • 3 dates

  • 1 cup frozen pineapple

  • 1/4  ice cubes

Steps

  1. Place ingredients in the order listed into a high-speed blender, and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
