Salmon and Avocado Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces grilled or baked salmon fillet

  • 1/2 avocado, sliced

  • 2 cups mixed greens

  • 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, and avocado slices.

  2. Flake the salmon into small pieces and add it to the bowl.

  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  4. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.

 

Note* Feel free to substitute with smoked salmon. Salmon is packed with omega-3 fatty acids, particularly DHA, crucial for brain health and development. Avocado is a good source of healthy fats and vitamin E, linked to a reduced risk of cognitive decline.
