Baked Sweet Potatoes

Sweet potatoes contain nutrients like beta-carotene, vitamins A, C, E, B5 & B6, and potassium. Instead of adding calories to them by frying them, why not bake them?

Ingredients

  • 2 large sweet potatoes, cut into wedges

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

  • Unrefined sea salt and black pepper

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F (180C).

  2. Line a large baking tray with parchment paper. Place the potato wedges evenly on top of the parchment paper. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of oil and season with salt and pepper.

  3. Bake until crisp and golden brown, about 20 to 30 minutes.
