Homemade Barbeque Marinades
Homemade marinades are much healthier than store-bought ones since they don’t contain any additives to maintain their shelf life. And you can just combine a few ingredients in a bowl, add meat, fish, or vegetable choice, and leave them to marinade, and voila, they are ready for grilling. Each recipe below makes enough for 4 servings.
Marinade instructions
Fish, seafood, and vegetables - 15 to 20 minutes.
Small portions of meat, poultry, diced meat for kabobs, and thin steaks - 1 to 3 hours.
A large joint of meat, whole chicken - 6 to 12 hours.
Herby
1 lemon, zest, and juiced

zest of 1 lime
Tropical
3 tablespoons pineapple juice
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
Tandoori
100 milliliter yogurt
25 grams ginger, grated
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon olive oil
Sticky
