Ingredients

  • 1 handful of fresh nettle leaves (use gloves to handle)

  • 1 cup of water

  • Honey or lemon to taste (optional)

Steps

  1. Rinse the nettle leaves under cold water (remember to use gloves).

  2. Bring the water to a boil in a small pot.

  3. Add the nettle leaves to the boiling water.

  4. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.

  5. Strain the tea into a cup.

  6. Add honey or lemon to taste, if desired.
