Spicy Ginger Syrup

This spicy, refreshing syrup tastes delicious; stir it into tea, coffee, or smoothies, and top it on ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup fresh ginger, peeled, diced, and minced

  • 3/4 cup maple syrup

  • 1 cup water

Steps

  1. Bring ginger, maple syrup, and water to a simmer in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.

  2. Strain through a sieve into a glass jar.
